Five Coffee Shops Near Columbia University
I cannot tell you how many times me and my fellow Columbia Pub Course-ers googled this one. To be honest, my list isn't much better than the ones we found. But it does tell you that though the pickings are slim, these coffee shops are your most delicious and best bets. Joes 550 W 120th St Joes Coffee is an on campus option right next to the Journalism School. Slightly overpriced for a student created latte in a tinier turquoise blue to-go cup than most places, but it still managed to wake me up and smile with each sip on most mornings. Also, the convince here was definitely key. WiFi with Columbia University login of course is a go. Hungarian Pastry Shop 1030 Amsterdam Ave Most likely your very best bet if you have a little time one morning to spare. Their coffee is amazing--and stay a while!
